It is with great sadness that Realacorp Management Ltd. announces the passing of our founder, Guy Patrick O’Byrne.

Born in 1939, Guy founded Realacorp Management Ltd. in 1976, beginning a commitment to the company and its clients that would span nearly five decades.

Realacorp was more than a business Guy established. It became an important part of his life. His dedication was remarkable, and he remained actively involved in his work well into his mid-80s.

Those who knew Guy will also remember the person behind the business. His wonderful sense of humour and gentle kindness were part of who he was and brought warmth to the many relationships he developed over the years. Whether dealing with clients, colleagues or the people he encountered through his work, Guy understood the importance of treating people with kindness and respect.

Over the years, the company Guy founded grew through the relationships it established with property owners, strata corporations, tenants, suppliers, colleagues and the communities it served. The values upon which he built Realacorp continue to be reflected in the company today.

Guy leaves an enduring legacy, not only in the company he founded, but in the people who knew him, worked with him and benefited from his kindness, humour and many years of dedication.
